7 Cup Muesli


This recipe is much better than store bought varieties and cheaper too!



1 serve = ½ cup (45g)



  • 3 cups oats

  • 1 cup smashed mixed nuts of your choice (macadamia, almond, walnut, Brazil, pecan, hazelnut etc)

  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds

  • ½ cup sunflower seeds

  • ½ cup raisins OR sultanas

  • ½ cup cranberries

  • ½ cup dried apricots, chopped

  • ½ cup coconut flakes

Option: Replace ½ cup of dried fruit with ½ cup LSA (ground linseed, sunflower seeds & almonds!)



Place the oats into a large airtight container.
Smash the nuts using a pestle & mortar (or place in a plastic bag & smash)
Add the nuts, seeds and dried fruit.

Tip: Roast the nuts in a dry fry pan on low heat before smashing (careful not to burn)

To Serve:                                                                                                 
Pour ½ cup muesli into a bowl.  Serve with a few dollops of good quality natural yoghurt and berries OR fresh seasonal fruit… or soak overnight with yoghurt/milk and you have Bircher muesli!

Protein Tip: Mix some protein powder with a milk of your choice and add to your muesli!
