Beetroot Hummus

Delicious, healthy and easy to make. Are you ready to take a dip?

 

INGREDIENTS


  • 400g canned chickpeas, drained.
  • 450g can beetroot or 2-4 fresh beetroot, peeled & boiled until soft
  • 2-4 cloves garlic, crushed (or 2 tsp minced garlic)
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • ¼ cup tahini paste

 

METHOD


Place all ingredients in a blender and process till smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water until it is a thinner consistency is formed.
