Natasha is an Occupational Therapist, Pilates instructor and positively glows with warmth and compassion. She spends her days working as an Occupational Therapist and her mornings and evenings as a Pilates Instructor in Brisbane, Australia.

”She has a wonderful ability to explain the exercises in detail while still making you work hard.”

Natasha was first introduced to Pilates at the age of 12 through her dance training. She completed a diploma in dance at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence and followed this with completing her certificate in ballet teaching with the royal academy of dance. After years of teaching dance, Natasha saw the need for more strength and conditioning work when training young dancers. This attracted her to the Pilates method which lead her to become a Pilates instructor.

She studied Pilates with the world renowned training school, Polestar Pilates and continues to expand her knowledge by attending continuing education workshops and working closely with a team of physiotherapists. She has used Pilates as a tool for strengthening and conditioning young dancers, as well as a rehabilitation tool in both children and adults.

Maintaining function and bringing balance in the body is primarily the focus of her teaching. This focus is evident in the online classes that Natasha teaches for The Body Refinery Online. Her technical dance mind, Occupational Therapy skills and her calm, balanced nature makes her an exceptional instructor. If you’re anything like us, you will certainly be repeating many of her classes – we just can’t get enough of her!
